Dear Parents, Welcome!! I'm looking forward to working with your child this school year. My goal is to provide an opportunity for each of my students to succeed academically, in a respectful and caring environment. I know you will work with me to help your child have a rewarding and productive year. You are welcome to visit or call any time you have questions or concerns. Please remember, I cannot take instructional time from my students to talk with parents. A conference time can be arranged by phone. Please feel free to call and set up a time to discuss your concerns. School begins at 8:00 and your child is expected to be in the classroom at this time. If she/he is tardy, a note from you is required. All tardy students are sent to the office. Please carefully read the district attendance policy located in the Parent Handbook. Being at school and on time each day is a very important part of your child's education. We will have Physical Education classes every Wednesday and Friday On these days, your child must have tennis shoes to participate in class. In addition, we will have Music class every Tuesday. Art class is every Thursday. We will have Library Skills every Monday. To avoid classroom disruption, it is asked that students do not bring candy, gum, snacks, toys, or any fancy school supplies, unless it is requested by me.
